Merry Christmas to Saxons Old and New
The Legend of Three Ruggers
Many Ruggers throughout the land saw the star of hope that first Rugby season. Three of them from the ancient continent of Ontario would come together in their quest to find the New Club.
The legend unfolds in the land of Hamilton, where the effects of the smog can be seen though the rampaging episodes of some its, NOW temporary residents. Rugby Player Noor, whose name means "Goat Ass", is as dark as the colour of warm dung, another temporary effect of the smog.Suddenly, his covered rugby ball of white, blue and red is struck by the light of a brillian star that proclaims the birth of a New Club. He Begins his journey to offer the ball as a gift to this New Club.During his travels, Rugby Player Noor discovers there is another Rugby Player following the same star.
The second Rugby Player, Rugby Player Kharoof, whose name means "Painted Face", comes from the village of Orono near the armpit of Newcastle. His face is brushed with the bronze of a holy horse's tail. When the light of the holy star sweeps over him, the bag of food for his cousin-wife turns into the finest bag of jerseys in the land. Inspired to take this fine clothing to give as a gift to the Newborn Club, Rugby Player Kharoof joins the Rugby Player Noor, and they continue to follow the star.
The legend continues with the Rugby Player Malh, whose name means "Speed Bag".His face, a blotchy gold and brown from the soil of the rose gardens at 61 Sky Valley Drive. As Rugby Player Mahl transports a precious cargo of vinegar through the desert, the light of the star turns his vinegar into the most sought after beverage in the land--BEER. He, too, will follow the star with the other Rugby Players to offer his gift to the New Club.
The legend ends in the small town of Cobourg, in the land of Northumberland County. There, the three Ontario Rugby Players join with other travellers to worship the New Cobourg Saxons and offer Watson, server to the members of the New Club, their gifts which will be used to help the New Club prosper.
